Remedial Massage

1. Musculoskeletal System:

Our treatment begins with traditional Thai acupressure massage to release muscle tension and relieve tension along the 32 tendons (zen lines), along with two specific specialized techniques.

2. Fascia System:

As muscles and tendons (zen lines) relax, the stiffness of the fascia softens (muscle fascia release). This softening allows for deeper relaxation of the muscles and tendons (zen lines) as the massage progresses. Fascia is a thin connective tissue that wraps around all the organs, blood vessels, bones, nerves, and muscles in the body. Strong fascia is naturally flexible and stretches with the body. However, lack of exercise, stress, injury, and repetitive movements can cause fascia to thicken and harden over time. Hardened fascia can cause chronic pain and restrict blood flow and movement. Because muscles, tendons (zen lines), and fascia are naturally interconnected, our Thai massage helps relax these muscles and tendons simultaneously throughout the massage.

3. Nervous System:

Once the muscles, tendons, and fascia have been sufficiently relaxed... Stimulating pressure points along the body's 12 meridians helps clear blockages in energy pathways, improves the flow of vital energy, relieves deep pain, and promotes the body's natural self-healing capabilities.

4. Joint and Skeletal System:

After addressing the above systems, careful stretching and gentle pressure are applied to restore balance to overworked joints. This method combines principles of Thai traditional medicine with a deep understanding of human physiology for safe and comprehensive treatment without surgery or prior joint injury. This gentle technique can effectively relieve chronic pain associated with overworked joints and bones.
